Yes, Trump could end democracy

By now you’ve probably seen, or at least heard of, the clip of Donald Trump telling supporters that they “won’t have to vote any more” if he wins this year.

There is no doubt in my mind that he’s intending to thwart the will of the people, in 2028 and for many elections to come, if he wins in November.

We know his allies at Project 2025 have a plan to reshape the government. His running mate has said a few times that Republicans need to be “ruthless” in exercising the federal government’s power.

Let’s assume Donald Trump, the Heritage Foundation and Project 2025, or some other extremists in D.C. have a plan to end free and fair elections, so Republicans really “won’t have to vote any more."

Here are five ways I could see them doing it, and they absolutely can.

1. Extreme voter suppression in GOP-controlled states.

This could happen in a variety of ways. If you live in Georgia, the state just made it so that anyone with your driver’s license number can CANCEL your voter registration.

2. Change who can vote.

Extremists like J.D. Vance have suggested giving men an extra vote for every child they have, only allowing homeowners to vote, and giving married men two votes instead of letting women vote. Republicans would still need to vote, but less of them.

3. Having the courts overturn elections.

Republican donors already control the Supreme Court majority thanks to the Federalist Society, plus many other seats in federal courts. What’s stopping Republicans from challenging every significant election for the White House and Congress and sending them to the courts?

4. Violence and prosecution.

Donald Trump’s backers have shared plans to have the DOJ go after Democratic lawmakers, journalists who investigate them, and others who oppose their agenda.

Hitler sent his people to attack and arrest members of opposing parties. It’d be difficult, but Trump could make us afraid to vote or even identify as Democrats.

5. Rig elections.

I don’t know how they would even pull this off, but the final way I could see Republicans not needing to vote is if Trump’s network of criminals, extremists, and billionaires found a way to rig elections. Anything is possible.

Trump has never been able to keep his mouth shut when he should. We know he’s working with Project 2025, and he’s TELLING US their plan.

Republicans have the courts, which no party should ever have a monopoly on. They might get the White House. If they do, we CANNOT let them keep the House.

The whole point of Project 2025 is the unitary executive theory, the idea that all power of the federal government belongs in the hands of the Executive Branch, with Trump at the top.

This is a plan to create a U.S. dictatorship, plain and simple. And the threats aren’t coming from Trump alone.

We have JD Vance’s friend Kevin Roberts (Project 2025) calling this the “second American Revolution” and warning it could get bloody.

Even Vance says it’s time to break down and "rebuild” the country with “offensive conservatism.”

None of this is normal. We aren’t witnessing just another election season, and we haven’t since 2012. We are one step away from becoming a country like Russia, Hungary, China, or Iran.

Donald Trump should've been held accountable after January 6 and for past crimes, during and even before his presidency.

He might be in prison RIGHT NOW if the presidential immunity decision didn’t interfere with his 34-count felony conviction.

Trump is free, and he will try to destroy us if he wins. My opponent will help him.
